Easy question...just testing basic concepts:

Which of the following produces the greatest Ca flux?

a) alpha 1
b) beta 1
c) dopamine 1
d) M2 Ach receptor
e) N Ach receptor?

a1, along with M3, are the strongest Ca++ influx agents, since they both cause smooth muscle contraction.

Yes idiopathic. U're right. a 1 and M3, both work via Gq pathway of PIP2 :arrow: increase release of Ca from ER :arrow: contraction via phosphorylation of the MLC kinase
