If you want to LEARN the difference

1-ask this q five times then u will get the answer(fixed ratio)

2-if you ask the q every day at 5 oclock then u will get the answer(fixed interval)

3-you stay connected to the net, wait for me if I come on the net as well I will answer your q, sorry I cannt tell you when i will be on the net(variable interval)

4-I am all the time on the net you keep asking the q as many times as you can if I am in a mood I will answer your q(variable ratio)

clever examples hiwa
According to Kaplan:
An interval scale has equal increments like length, weight, blood.
A ratio scale is the best measure, contains equal intervals BUT has a true zero point (you can't go negative)
hope that helps.
