confidentiality is absolute. physician cant divulge information w/o pt's consent to anyone be it police, court or insurance company.
however, physician must break confidentiality
if pt is threat to himself/ others( homicide/ suicide/abuse)
infectious ds( get the pt to work with you to tell the person who is at risk)

End of June....
I dont like those questions on there. They get very picky which is NOT board relevant. I rather spend times on Qbank, Goljan and NMS over and over again.
BTW...there is lots of errors on there....not sure if you noticed
