anyone knows any forum for observership?
what to do to get one or to volonteer in a hospital in order to obtain a recomendation letter from a US Doc.
i am an IMG.
any helpful information,

According to bbb we have to contact each program...that is no easy way like a forum...am I right bbb?

Well, I am in the same process, trying to get an observership. First of all, are you within the US? that would make it easier.
If so, take a look at the web pages of university hospitals of the states you are located. At this point I have found 3 places, At the Mount Sinai Medical Center, Jackson Memorial hospital, and at the Miami Children's all located in Miami. If you apply in advance (about 3 months) you can get 1 month observership.
Eventhough is not that long, that's a lot of help for an IMG.

Hi vmg: I am also in Miami and i will do an observership at jackson hospital. I saw in another post you are preparing cs. Are you interested in practise the cases?. Mine is at the end of July.
