this q is not proper..actually,it is branchial cyst that appears in anterior border...which is unilocular and clear fluid..but anterior border of sternomastoid...
cystic hygroma is lymph fluid in posterior border of sternomastoid...but multilocular.....

4 one man smoke “crack” in the evening. BP180/110, HR:120, EKG: sinus tackycardia. What caused this symptom?
indirect sympathomimetic effect of cocaine(block of reuptake)

5 49 old man with one week shortness of breath, no fever, no chill, no cough, breath sound decreased in left lower lobe, also decreased vocal and tactile fremitus and dullness to pucussion at this area. Diagnosis?(311)

sounds like effusion..

6.6which drug directly act on exitation – contraction coupling rather than CNS:
Baclofen, bromocriptine, Dantrolene, benztropine, diazepin

dantrolene..

1)Baranchial cyst
2) and 3) unless we have the choices it won;t be possible to answer as there can be more than 1answer.....so kindly furnish the choices for us.
4)cocaine/amphetamines
5)Pleural effusion or haemo thorax....cannot be empyema.....however need the options to indicate which is the exact cause from the options given.
6)I'm not aware of Baclofen....can anyone pls let me know??I think answer is either dantrolene or baclofen.

1cystic hygroma, preauricular sinus, thyroglossal dust cyst…

2, conformation, amplification, conformation, recombination….
3 costal preural, diaphragmatic preural, parietal peritoneum, transversalis fascia, ?
4the answer is clear
5 lobular consolidation or effusion? Why the tactile fremitus is decreased?
6the answer is clear dantrolene

  #5

baclofen = GABA agonist

must be peural effusion

  #6

Coming back to Q1 as branchial cyst is not an option then I will go with cystic hygroma....the other 2 option you had given are usually not located in relation to sternocleidomastoid.
2)recombination
3)I'm just guessing....transversalis fascia
5)effusion....in consolidation tactile effusion is increased whereas in effusion its decreased.

I had not read pharmacology(only started 2 days ago) all this while so I wasn't aware of the answer 4 but while reading ANS yesterday I stumbled upon dnatrolene and baclofen.....yes idiopathis you're right its GABA B agonist(so CNS) whereas dantrolene is used in malignant hyperthermia and is PNS inhibitor.

  #7

1 is cystic hygroma
2 amplification
3transversalis fascia

5 cant it be partial collapse due to foreign body bcoz it is an acute condition(h/o 1 wk)
6 dantrolene
