Can someone help me with this: If all pts. are not real pts., will we find any positive findings during PE? e.g. pt. c/o heart problem, are we going to hear abnormal heart sound? If not, how are we going to report? Thanks!

It is possible to get a patient with abnormal auscultation, however chances are slim. If you don't find abnormal findings you document that in the patient note; you can't write down a cardiac murmur if you can't auscultate it! Regards!

Thanks. So I guess I don't need to worry if I do not report any postive PE symptoms for all my testing patients. It is possible, right?
