Use: to relieve nervousness, tension, or anxiety, improve sleep disturbances such as insomnia. It is also used to treat seizure disorders.
aka 'truth serum' but i dont think studies have justified this action.

One of the use is for differentiation between conversion disorder with neuromuscular dysorder along with the "la belle indifference".
Aftern injection of sodium amytal, the presentation of conversion disorder often resolve.
