Suramin the drug of choice for Onchocerca in combination with diethylcarbamazine from year 2000/ You are probably correct
since Ivermectin may be an UPDATE! Good looking out piter

Disease: Chagas Disease - Trypanosoma cruzi
Treatment: Benznidazole
The symptoms don't match those of Ochocerca, also Onchocerca is endemic from around Columbia to Mexico in South America.
