Thank you both for answering question. As far as i know, you both are perfectly right. What I know is it can be used for 1) Major depression 2) Attention defect disease 3) Smoke sessation It can be used combined with nicotine patch for smoke sessation but should check BP regularly. Just wonder if Bupropion can be used for bulema, Piter, are you sure about this? Because I seem have read it somewhere Bupropion shoud not be used for it boz its side effect of seizure. I need to confirm for it. Hope you and others can share what they know. Thanks.

Never use buproprion in someone w/seizure history. It can cause/exacerbate seizures...that is the only major s/e I know about. Also, apparently you CAN use it during pregnancy.

The neurochemical mechanism of the antidepressant effect of bupropion is not known. Bupropion does not inhibit monoamine oxidase. Compared to classical tricyclic antidepressants, it is a weak blocker of the neuronal uptake of serotonin and norepinephrine; it also inhibits the neuronal re-uptake of dopamine to some extent. Contraindications: Bupropion is contraindicated in patients with a seizure disorder. Bupropion is also contraindicated in patients with a current or prior diagnosis of bulimia or anorexia nervosa because of a higher incidence of seizures noted in such patients treated with bupropion. The concurrent administration of bupropion and a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor is contraindicated. At least 14 days should elapse between discontinuation of an MAO inhibitor and initiation of treatment with bupropion. Bupropion is contraindicated in patients who have shown an allergic response to it.
