XR...women can show some symptoms, due to the expansion of the trinucleotide repeats (anticipation), but it is not XD or AD, as some have argued.

X linked recessive .It is also known as (Martin Bell Syndrome).Specific region involved is Xq27. I hope that will help..

My confusion was whether it is recessive or dominant coz kaplan says its X linked dominant and lippincot says its recessive. I think idiopathic has cleared my doubts. thanx!
