Dear friends,
I took step 1 on the 16 april 2004, and till date i have not yet got my score. I know I still have one more week to wait (i.e 6 wks) but, I checked oasis this morning and it is written that score report date, 12 may 2004. today is 17 may, but I have not yet seen any score. What does this mean? Does it mean I failed the exam or do I have to call the ECFMG for my score? Has anyone had a similar situation?
On my oasis page, the information is current to 17 may.

Don't worry, you will get it. USPS may take a while sometimes...

bobby if according to oasis your score is reported, then u can try the oasis trick and find out if u pass or not, in case u want to get relieved earlier. u try to re-apply for step1, n hopefully u will see a red screen saying that u pass step1 already  but again its your personal decision, if u feel comfortable doing it. good luck and good wishes for the future.

ive just tried to re-apply for step 1 as dxtxpx suggested,and I got this in red;
Our records indicate that you have already passed this Step or the equivalent NBMEฎ Part. The USMLE Policy on Reexamination generally does not allow applicants to retake a Step examination if they have already passed that Step or the equivalent NBME Part.
does this mean that i have passed step 1?
Cant believe what I am reading, because I was more than 40% sure of not passing the exam. I had problems with timing, the questions were too long, I was very tired toward the last two block
etc
etc.
.etc.....
Now I am very anxious to see my score.
Please, can anyone advice me on what other trick I can do to know my score?

hello,
i'm in a similar situatioin.
i took my exam in the last week of march. on checking oasis found out that i had passed an d my result was posted on 21 april. i still havn't received it. i'm very worried. i wrote to ecfmg but i have received a reply. i tried e mailing them but no use as it was a 'failure delivery'.
i hope somebody on this forum can suggest a solution.

:P Hi! Bobby!
If you haven't received your results yet why don't you call ECFMG at 215-386-5900 and they will send you new letter. My scheduling permit got lost in the mail so I called them and they send me a new one in a week.

Finally I got my score today. I am happy with my performance, though I could have done better. Immediately after the exam, I was almost sure of not passing.
I want to thank the person who created this forum, wish you the best in life.
This forum has helped me a lot. I am an IMG in Europe, I prepared all alone at home for this exam.
In this forum, I was able to meet other students preparing for the same exam. had to exchange ideas and doubts which helped me so much to have confidence in myself.
Good lock to all preparing for the exam.
