A 12 year old girl came with history of intermittent abdominal pain with bouts of watery diarrhea for the last 10 months.. now for the last 3 months she has also complaint of severe perianal itching and excoriation. what is the likely diagnosis?
A.. SLE
B.. Crohn's disease
C..giardia lamblia infestation
D.. compylobacter jejuni

No other supporting symptoms and signs for SLE.
Crohn's disease blood+
compylobacter jejunibloody diarrhea.

perianal itching and excoriation is probably too many times of tissue wiping due to diarrhea.

c. chrons disease
blood in stool is not necessarily a feature like in UC and the diarrhoea is episodic
correct me if I am wrong :roll:

B Crohn disease

it probably is crohns...awfully early for an autoimmune disease, and also not a classical presentation. HOWEVER, I think giardia carriers are usu asymptomatic
