Hi

Those questions are very similar to the real test. You should be getting about 80% correct to score >90.

good luck !

Hi,
Could you please tell me where did you download those sample questions from? I checked the ECFMG's site , and I didn't find them. Maybe I didn't look in the right place. Isnt't it the NBME's site?
Thank you and good luck with your exam.
A.

Dear,
grin  It's not so.....Sample test materials for USMLE 2004 are available at ECFMG Publications/Downloads page . Go to http://ecfmg.org/pubshome.html#st1st2

 It's in PDF file. You need Adobe reader to view questions.

Dear mmogghbelli,
Thats a good score. You must realise that Step 1 can be a difficult exam but it cannot be at the level of PG(Post graduate)since not only IMG but also AMG have go through it....and the step 1 has to be at a level of basic Science. They can put in some clinicals but at the end of the day the exam has to be something acheivable by a 2nd year student. My impression is that the 2003 questions ECFMG are retired questions to give us an idea on the difficulty of the exam....luckily If777 confirmed it for us.Even the USMLE CD I suppose serves that purpose......so don't worry mmoghbelli......you are scoring real well even if you've just started your studies.....if I were you I may even prepone my exam date!

you can also get the sample test materials along with the prometrics program on the usmle.org website.

http://www.usmle.org/step1/default.htm

Click on # Download software to run Step 1 tutorial and sample test materials

You can then practice using the program and do the tutorial before actual test day.

The pdf and the cd and this download are all the same stuff.

don't stress! you're doing well! i've heard that the real exam is about the same, and that qbank is a little harder.
