If you take a biopsy from the esophagus and see both striated and smooth muscle, which part of the esophogus are you in?
A) Lower esophageal sphincter
B) Lower third
C) Middle third
D) Upper esophageal sphinter
E) Upper third

upper third is striated and lower third is smoth ,

question , at what portion is the
zenker diverticulam ,
mallory wise ,
plumber vinson leision , and ???? i forgot ,
answer in term of upper , middle or lower third of oesophagus ?

I think plummer vinson is in the upper oesophagus there is upper oesophageal web
