Patient with advanced adenocarcinoma of cecum is admitted for Palliative therapy. during his stay, he develops a flexion deformity of hip. which muscle is most likely involved?
A)Gemellus superior
B) Iliacus
C) Obturator externus
D) obturator internus
E) Piriformis

E , it is the logical choice , thought in 5 sec . but may be wrong smiling face

I would have to say iliacus muscle since it is the only one that flexes the thigh and is under the cecum (and lateraly to it )....right iliac fossa.

yes it is, i was confusin pyriformis with psoas , i dont know what i was thinking :lol:
