I am planning to seat for usmle on 31st may . but just to assess me I gave exam on kaplan CD of simuleted test .. and to tell you frankly i scored only 60 percent !!!! during the exam I found myself not to even remember the very simple matter .. I dont know why !!! and I did very rediculous mistakes of very simple questions>>>of course few questions were beyond my reach .
i am completely deprseed and dont know what to do .. should i give exam on NBME to check finaly ? or what should i do ...I heard that real exam is more tough than the kaplan test ....
need your advise please .....

Don't be depressed ansar, i mean i haven't taken the exam yet, but seriously i am sur eyour just stressed since your exam is coming up. Just review the topics you couldn't remember. Someone who i know took the exam told me that their exam was easier than the kaplan one and that exam is very hard and they told me that i should take it just to make myself study more. I am sure you'll be fine!!!!! Review FA!!

Hi,
Don't worry 60% marks(despite the careless mistakes) is tolerable.Since you're having problems in remembering only the small or key elements, so a quick review will do the trick.I too advice you to go through FA and concentrate on it till the exam.I'm sure its all there in your head all you need to do now is consolidate the information and the fastest and best way is via FA.Also redo the Q-bank and other questions(which comes with answers that explain) you can get your hands onto and spend time on explanations.All the best.

Do not panic, I was also thinking on reschedule my test, because one day I am killing the question but the next day it seems like I have not study, I am trying to concentreate on the day of my test which will be next May-26-04 at 9:00 am, I am feeling really scare, but I was thinking days before I was confident, but now I am getting nervous, you know whattake the test like and expert test taker, in that moment you are just taking questions.
Stick on FA, everyone is saying since I start studying that is gold for the test.

my heart felt thanks to you all ..
after reading your advice I am trying my best to get back my confidence .and sticking with first aid ..
and IF anybody wish to advice me anything more .. I would like request you to do that for me .. and lastly to say frankly ..my heartbeats are too rapid .....

Hi! I don't have an examination date yet but my eligibility period is between may-july. I nervous and cannot concentrate on my studies. I know you are more nervous than I am and your exam is near. Goodluck on your May 26 exam. Share your experience please.
