Anyways, Are competitive inhibitors similar to comp antagonists? Do they increase or decrease Km...what abt non comp?
Thanks in advance...

They sound synonymous to me, but I'm not sure.

Competitive inhibitors will increase Km, as they compete with the normal substrate for enzyme's active site.

Non-competitive ones do not affect the Km, but they reduce the enzyme's Vmax.
