The ATPase activity required for muscle contraction is associated with which protein? (A)myosin (B)troponin (C)myosin ligth chain kinase (D)tropomyosin (E)actin

atpase activity is in d head of the myosin which has both light n heavy chains so, im not sure whether it is myosin or myosin light chain kinase.

The ATPase activity should lie in myosin. Besides, myosin light chain kinase (by its name) should perform a phosphorylation activity. I think that MLCK plays a role in smooth muscle and regulates the activity of myosin.
