can anybody who has taken exam after april gives me some tips about exam, important topics,.....

Exam is very difficult, 8 blocks 1 day. 48 qns in each, next day - 4 blocks of qns, 36 qns in each and 9 CCS cases. @ day you have more time for breaks. The book to read for step3 is Current medical diagnosis and treatment, then you do some cases from kaplan or usmleworld.
On the exam - a lot of cardiology,emergency medicine,neurology,dermathology, rheumathology,some trauma,bit GYN and Peds, but mostly elderly pts with comorbid conditions on a lot of meds. For ex, 95yo men, femoral neck fracture,delirium yesterday everning, you are being asked to clear him for surgery - replacement of the hip joint. I said - proceed with non-surgical treatment taking into account his age and his mental status.
