its about the function of gamma motor neurons. we know that alpha and gamma motoneurons are co-activated. so when a muscle is actively contracting the muscle spindle also shortens. it helps to maintain the sensitivity of muscle spindle. would some explain what sensory information is perceived when muscle spindle is shortening ang whats its response? how ill this help to maintain the sensitivity of muscle spindle?
