I liked Blueprints. Very concise and straight to the point.

I think the best are:-
1) Kaplan notes
2) CMDT (reference)
3) FA
4) CTB
Questions from Kaplan qbank, USMLEworld, NMS, CCSSA

Blueprints are good but they are so many different books, I think one gets a feeling of not having covered all topics finally. (just my thought)

All the best, Asmi.

Hi naisarg,
I am half way down preparing for step 2. My observation is that Kaplan notes are the best and wholesome. They draw the boundaries for the subjects and that helps when you think of the ocean of med, peds, surg etc. So I think first one could do Kaplan notes, then qbook, then again kaplan notes, CMDT as required/personally-confusing topics, then start all the question sets you have. Then wind up with Kaplan notes, FA and CTB.
I think that is a good preparation. It helps if one can do questions twice or at least re-visit the ones you get wrong.
If you know any other tips/advice, do share with me because I am also on the road to step 2 (not finished yet),
Thanks,
All the best,
Meg
