The wife of an obese man comes to you complaining that her husband snores heavily during the night and occasionally stops breathing for several seconds.During the day he seems too sleepy and has hypertension.Which one of the following would benefit him?

-Lowering his BP
-Nebulised Salbutamol
-Continuous positive pressure oxygen by mask
-uvulopharyngoplasty
-loosing weight

i think the answer should always be lifestyle modification (lose weight) instead of jumping first to giving oxygen

I think cpap as it is not a mild case of osa
People with mild apnea have a wider variety of options, while people with moderate-to-severe apnea should be treated with nasal CPAP.

As the Q says ab benefit to pt then it should be loosing wt as that is the cause
