i think the answer should always be lifestyle modification (lose weight) instead of jumping first to giving oxygen

I think cpap as it is not a mild case of osa People with mild apnea have a wider variety of options, while people with moderate-to-severe apnea should be treated with nasal CPAP.

As the Q says ab benefit to pt then it should be loosing wt as that is the cause ___________________ have fun
