I'm old IMG almost 8 yr old graduation. mid 80s score in step1.yet to take other steps.People saying stiff competition.I'm almost giving up to take other mle steps.

May or may not take ck for which i was prepg. since long.

I'm getting so much demoralised after seeing posts in this forum.

Brothers/sis, does i have any chance in psychiatry or peds next year-mean 2010 match?

study hard for step 2, aim for a higher score...

There is always a possibility if residency in US is what you want to pursue.. no one can give you estimate of a chance. Aim high and do your best.. leave the rest to God.

I m actually not feeling good reading your posts of giving up...........
I m having an eye on u right from the days wen u were having your journal and you came thinking this far.........not the sign of a fighter.

Amazingly, your signature tells two different things today and these both go towards opposite direction.

Chance favors only the prepared mind ---- i know its little tough for you,but still, its doable......its a matter of beleiving in you. If you will prepare yourself like this, you will definitely have no chance even if one exists for you.
That feeling has to arise from inside you........as i say conquer your innerself.Ask urself some Q's and find ways to solve them.....you came this far and giving up??
Atleast have a try at ur luck and feel free inside you..............we tend to think too monotonous in these situations.

Best of luck
