Hi everyone! What do you think is better: write or type Pt notes? If you type them, can you delete smth or you can't correct that. Have you tried Copy-Paste functions if you typed? I'd appreciate your input.

depends on how you wrote them in med schooll.. we used to write them.. hence i felt better writing them.. even though almost everyone in the room was typing away furiously.. while i was done in 7 minutes most of the time.. US Seniors are used to typing them in med school or electives etc.. then again if you are good at typing fast and your writing is not good then its a better idea to type,, you can delete .. there is sample practice page on usmle site available for free. practice on that..

Thank you so much opthainusmle! I just can't decide... I used to write them at school too, but it was LONG time ago, my typing is fast (I took a typing class in US). The only thing I like about typing that you'd be able to delete something you don't like, but I think that when I write PN, I think a little better What a delema Thanks again.

You should go for typing, you cant erase at paper. I used old style "writing with a pen" at my exam and failed. I had to do so much correcting at exam and my paper turned into an ugly patient note time to time.
