Hi there, just heard about my results. I am still overseas, so still need to see it, to bielive it. Got 220/ 90

Thats good mdwannabe.....congratulations.
You were always intelligent so to me its not a surprise to hear about your excellent results.Do you mind telling me what materials you read from/solved questions?and for how long and how many hours(average did you used to study)?
I also wanted to know how did you perform for the Pharmacology component of the exam?Where did you read for Pharmac. and were you able to solve all the questions on the exam for Pharmac.???Once again congratulations mdwannabe....like I said previously you should change your nick to MD....its people like me whose the wannabes!!!

cool 8) , i told you before that you have very good concept and see you got the proof right here..in your result.
I wish i too would have score in 90's. Iam eager for my result..its like we can't even relax after giving exam, thinking about score.

Thank you guys..I don't even know if its good or bad...wether it is enough fot ER residency. Anyway, as soon as I am back to US..a couple of days ... I still take a part here...may be help some more.

If you or asmi can remember any questions/graphs/pic/visuals or concepts being tested for the exam it may proof useful for the rest of us here.And ofcourse my other questions are above in this thread.All the best to asmi,I hope the 2 digits you are anxiously waiting for begin with 9.Thanking you in advance.

I have given my exam experience in my previous posting.
Well i would say that you should read well genetics, biochem(especially the imp rate limiting enzymes) ,phsio should be read with system wise along with pathology .
:idea: I should rather say that kaplan covers almost all imp topics for exam.So read kaplan notes as many times as u can and do as many Q's as u can.
:idea: Actual exam is something different from kaplan Q bank .Infact its more tougher than that .So just try to learn new concepts even while doing Q bank.

Here is some advice. Take plenty of rest, make sure you sleep at least 6 hours.
Study combinations of subjects. Like Phisio and Path. Make sure you do a lot of questions, helps you to get used to format.
Nothing new here, everything that anybody would advise. Only thing.... try to help as many people as you can to understand different subjects, try to put it in your own terms and present it to someone on this forum or anywhere else. Dont get sucked in to waste time on-line, but still contribute some here, it helps. DO NOT STICK JUST TO KAPLAN NOTES, it is good, but you gotta see it from some other perspective. Think more, try to remember things, but not memorize. FIRST AID is the book to know, to do very well.

Thank you all, for kind words. I hope I did and shall help some of you, to believe that this test is not the worst thing in the world, it is just another step we all have to take on the way to our dream.
