:hey guys I took my CS exam on July 30th in Chicago and I got my results today and PASSED  i thought I take a min out and let u know what I used!
The pneumonic I used was:
LIQOR FAAAP PAM HITS RUGS FOSS: TADER HOT
And for conceling I used : MEDEM
L: location
I: intensity
Q: quality: sharp or dull
O: onset
R: radiates...does your pain move anywhere?
F: frequency
A: alleviating factors: anyting that makes it better
A: aggrevating factors: anythign that makes it worse, like food, or movement
A: associated symptoms...cough, fever...
P: progression
P: previous episodes
A: Allergys: sesonal, or for food or meds
M: medication
H: Hospitalization
I: Illnesses
T:Trauma
S:surgery
R: review of
U: urinary probs like burning or increase frequency
G: GI probs like constipation or diarrhea
S: sleep
F: Family history
O:OBGYN, last menstration, is it regualar...
S: Sexual Hx, how many partners, when were u last tested....
S: Social Hx... look at the following pneuminc TADER HOT
T: Tobacco products: chew or smoke: how many and for how long
A: Alcohol
D: Diet
E: Exercise
R: recreational drugs
H: home life? like relationship with your husband
O: occupation
T: travel recently?
COUNCELLING pneumonic: MEDEM
M: monitoring
BP 3X/ week
Weight 1x/week
Blood sugar 2x/ day
E: Education:
smoking, drugs, alcohol
for a diabetic
keep feet dry
don’t walk bare foot
wear stockings
if you see a cut or bruise please let me know asap
D: Diet:
increase fiber and decrease fat
low calories
for a diabetic or HTN dec salt
E: Exercise: our goal is to reach 30 mins 5x per week
M: Medication:
please do not forget to take ur meds
if you take any other meds even over the counter please let me know so we
can see of they interfere with your meds you are currently on
