20. A 63-year-old male with chronic rheumatoid arthritis

Amyloid protein in the setting of a chronic inflammatory disease as RA is formed by Serum amyloid associated protein ( SAA) and it is called "AA protein", whereas amyloid formed in the setting of immunocytic dyscrasias e.g multiple myeloma consists of immunoglobulin light chains, the so-called "AL protein".
