Hello Everyone

I have heard from several people that if you take your USMLE in a small town where less people register to take it then it increases your chances of scoring in 90s vs. taking it in a big city where you have more competition therefore less chances of scoring high...

Just to confirm that this is NOT a rumor that I am spreading ....this has been stated time and time again at the PASS Program....anyone who has attended can confirm that.

I'd like to get someones opinion on this.......what do you guys think?

I dont buy that at all !! USMLE is a very fair exam you will ever see and moreover i know ppl who took in small town and failed couple times , do not fall for anything like these and just focus on studies....THERE IS ONLY ONE THING YOU NEED TO GET 90+...work hard like never before .

Just my 2 cents ....

So go and take it in a small town if you believe it works !

Why do you try to spread these sort of rumors!

If you can't do the exam or don't have the ability to get a high score , there is no need to start this dirty game with the others!

I wonder if you are educated ! Your opinions are like an old grandma with schizoid traits

I don't see how this can possibly be true since the scale is done on a national level. So theya ren't comparing your scale to the three other people in the small town taking it, but rather to the thousands taking it around the country at the same time.

U r not even compared to ur fellow examinees too i guess
Its a standardised test and u simply compete against the Exam itself.
No comparisions with felllow are made to give u a score... If it was so... ur score shud be called percentile , isnt it...?
