I have interview in a program that has a record of accepting applicants with uk experience, i have none and this is my first year out of med school. I couldnt get much of USCE.(1 mo and ongoin externship)

how can i convince the program in the presence of applicants with years of uk experience.?

if the program has sent u an invite then they consider u very much equal to the other candidates..

u have to tell them that u r a fresh grad 2008 so could get to do 1 month of usce and describ what u did there and what u learnt in that time frame..

sell ur fresh grad thing wink

I agree with docnit above.

You must have several great points to get the interview in the first place, so be positive.

I am a UK grad, with MRCP scores 99/99/99, but yet got rejected by Brideport Yale and YOrk which both make a great play of UK expn, MRCP etc. so it doesn't always work.

Having said that I'm still happy, as by Allahs grace got some excellent IVs elsewhere.

Work with what you have bro.nod
