hi guys,
this forum has been an amazing source of inspiration for step1 (july 2006) and step2ck (may 2008). i have just scheduled my step2cs which i am going to take on june 16, 2009 in philly.
if you are wondering what the gaps in between the usmles are all about - i am a final year medical student in germany, and i decided to take the steps at the time when i studied the respective subjects in medschool. this plan looked very risky to many people, but proved a good idea once the score reports came in  so i would totally recommend taking your steps as you make your way through medschool in case you are a foreign medical student.
but let's get back to the topic - it's 2cs time! to be frank i have no real plan at this point. i have FA and i started reading it a bit, but w/o a real system. i have a friend - a final year medstudent like me - who agreed to be my practice SP but i don't really have a clue where to start from. so at this point i am just reading FA. i read UW is good as well so i guess i'll do that, too, at a later stage.
i will be in the states from the end of march to mid-july 2009 for a clinical/research observership and i hope to get the chance to practice with other examinees during that time.
my goal for tonight is to memorize this PAMHUGSFOSS formula everybody is talking about...
