I called them last time for follow up
waited 18 min
They said evething if OK but it takes 6 weeks to process the apl.
I asked him if he will process it?
He said no but he will make sure that it will be processed.This is 2 weeks ago.
Since then I check like crazy 2 times a day.But I didnt hear from them
They are polite but they do not do anything too.

And what bothers me is that everytime you call a new person pick up the phone and you have to explain the same story again and again.Why they do not document things?

I dont have my original medical diploma but have a license and other docs and transcrpits saying Im a doctor, and I have sent those, what will happen to my application?

Hi everybody,
I have posted my concern about the lenght of time ECFMG is taking to process the application. Well, I see that my application is accepted!!!; it has taken a lot of time since 23th March to 13th May. Of course, I haven't received my orange card yet.

I called today
They said it can take 8 weeks bcz they are busy
But its OK I am studying
Lets be Optimistic
Friends Today on my way home to pick a book I saw a Terrible accident on the street in Vienna(capital of Austria)
A young man commited suicide by throughing himself from the roof of a 4 floor house, as I arrived on my bycicle they covered his head with a plastic bag and the ER Doc which came to the place of accident was my colliege with whoom I did my Emergency Residency. I called her by her first name(Doris), she turned to me and said Hi, she was very busy, I offered her my help but it was only paperwork bcz the patient already died.
Friends I feel REALLY really Bad and the worse thing is that I should study after that
OK you may say you are a Doc
But still friends beleave me it makes you feel deeply sad.
Sorry about writing this
But I feel better when I share my feelings with somebody
and for some reasons I am little bit depressed these days. I think its Normal
May be its bcz everything is unknown .Future is unknown.Financial insecurity.
also the news. War! I dont like to hear that people dye
The World is crazy!
Would anybody tell me whats the best thing to do in such a situation?

It is alright perses, things are uncertain now a days but we are still lucky we are here, had a goal we want to achieve! Unlike the dead person you saw, he/she just end up his/her life maybe his/her problem is bigger than ours. Like you I was so depressed a week ago but I relax and talked to our friends in this forum.and everything goes back the same I just realized that we are all in the same boat. Afraid, uncertain. Relax for a while and continue your study. GOODLUCK!

Yeah..here you go...glad to hear the great news from your side.!!!!

Guess now U should not worry ...just be optimistic..and move on with your studies..!!!

Do not let your hopes down any time any moment..do not think of future...just think of what you want to do...schedule your studies..just try to finish them in time...

...feeling relaxed and confident and able to finish the daily schedules you made..that itself makes you feel glad...do as much you can ..and rest you leave it to Almighty!!!

Keep your faith in Almighty...keep going on...!!!..

Ofcourse , we all can do it.

Glad to hear that from you. ECFMG wrote me 2 days ago and they told me that they just sent my diploma and transcript to our country last May 26 for verification I have no test schedule yet. Goodluck just keep on studying and pray always. I will pray for you also.
