Reading posts from ppl who have high 90s and worries about interveiws and are all feverish strated to make me even more nervous. If you have Passing/Low 80s, please, share Rej/IVs numbers, so many of us will feel calmer.

So far 5 rej/0 IVs

Some of them are true 99ers ................
but also Others are just lying about their credentials .....which is really pathetic....!!!!

I mean what is the use of showing up and lying infront of people who u dont even know.......thats bull****.

I know people from the last match who have 85/85 with visa issues who matched happily.

I think all what u need is probably a single interview where u show how chaeming u r and how lucky they are to interview u...

I heared about people who score 99/99 with 20 interview and eventually didnot get matched....sorry to hear about that but scores ain't it.....

Just bcz someone scored higher than u doesnot make him superior to u.....He could have heared about USMLE WORLD OR KAPLAN MCQ online for instance and u didnot....

I would say Courage, patience and persistance is all what everybody needs.

GL to all.............and remeber its just the 1st day of Octobercool

I know one woman who has 79/82/visa need who had applied last year in Sept and got her IV in Nov. Two interviews, matched on her 1st choice in Psych! I am having all fingers crossed (not really) but am hoping for the best for all the good ppl around

Thanks for your message. It really made me calmer. :-)

Hi neuro, sasa, stay strong. It is still too early for everything. Trust in God, you will definitely get some interview opportunities. While at the same time, read more information and make preparation for your future interviews. I know several friends matched with just two interviews. Best of luck.

rolling eyes

I was reading during hours all the posts here. This is my seccond year in the process, last year I didnt match because I didnt had my step 2 scores until late december and no clinical experience in USA and my scores were not that good. After this experience I was so frustraded because I put a huge amount of effort, money and time to pursuit this goal.
After all this experience I was in zero again but at that moment I realized that It was a challenge for me. I started again to study and applyed for step 3 and got some places in USA to get USCE.
This year I applied the first week of september but I didn't get IV yet. I really want to wish you all the best guys. Im sure that god has a place for each of us. God is the only one who knows how hard you did in your studies and all the sacrifice that you are doing to reach your dreams. For moments seems to be unfair for us put all this effort and only be numbers is sad I know, nobody knows all the pain, tears and frustration that have to suffer.

Keep faith and leave in hand of god what is next, you already gave all.

Good bless you

Smile you are alive.

I heard most of the programs trying to secure the best guys/gals in their first round of IV's....They will call for the rest after the end of October ...

I also think so . Because all of a sudden the IV season has become silent. So now the program will focus more upon the IV and wait till they get IV cancellation because of Prematch or pending results / failure or whatever....Depending upon that they will chage their criteria and send new invitations for IV. And then people with low score will hear IV. Till that time i can not expect any significant movements now. Exceptions : CONTACT in programs

sasa: hopefully you are right. As i have said earlier, last year, a person from my region got her IV in Nov only though applied in Sept. I wish you are SOOOO right and really wish programs look at the statements and recommendations and not only the scores.

Did anybody apply last year or participated in scramble? Plz, PM me.

not much time... hmm.. you definitely dont have low 80s! but we will accept you since you have no USCE and no LOR wich for some programs if crucial. no iv - bad, no rej - good.. means they are considering and you culd be on hold.
