hie friends, i em a med student far frm my country. have made up my mind for usmle coming year... have collected few materials but when i try to sit in front of the book feels like i m tired, theres no fear of exam, infact the feeling is free... even of that i have slowly finishd the general pharmacological principle... i dont know where to start frm...what to study??? what not?? feel why is this happening... any friends there to suggest me of wat i should do? where to start from...thanks in advance

hey buddy i am in same position as yourself. What i am doing is setting a side an amount of work i must complete each day for step 1. I am studying in my 5 year of med school. It is difficult to study as i am tired after classes. But over the last few weeks i have gone through a fair bit. hope it helps. gd luk all

thank u for the reply.. well seems that i m not alone... today em with physiology kaplan text... and feeling more energetic... our feild needs constant motivation, we can be tired, we can b far away to achieve our goal but got to go on... i think usmle will teach us much more than knowledge of books...the ups and downs as seen in the forums would b a definite guide that life is not so simple. to get something have to go through some circumstances which might not always be easy...

agreed buddy. I am currently going through the period of regret (i did not study for step 1 in my 3 month vacation because i had lots of commitments) but that doesn't matter. It is better to look ahead than stay in the past. Hard work must equal success so the same equation must be true of step 1. take care
