Hello, Im a FMG in Texas, I graduated from Iran a few moonths ago but had to leave the country hastily, and am not able to go back, because if so, I cant leave the country for another 10 years. They wont give me the final medical diploma or an official transcript, but I do have several official letters verifying my graduation and have also my grades with me. I also have my registration number, license to practice medicine, and letters of affidative from my proffesors that are currently in the US. I contacted ECFMG and they told me I need to have the final diploma, which is not possible for me. Can anyone lend me any ideas? Also, what score should I aim for on the USMLE for surgury residency or internal medicine?

As high as you can - you want the best scores possible!!

Mid-to-high eighties - with many low-to-mid 90's ___________________ bbb - trying to combine common sense and humour into realistic answers, but not going to guess on anyone's chances of getting into a position....
