first aid KME seems to be compleate plus we feel it has the same diagrams as that of kaplan so we want to read it. use it if it suits ur study style. dont know why i always felt that with kme im reading anew book. surprisingly FA is an amazingly user friendly book.if u know ur concepts and theory and fa never seems to be a new book things given very precise and very nicely. it is one book u can so easily revise a day before the exam (not kme) i definately preferred FA over KME WHEN U R 1 WEEK TO GO FOR UR EXAM U REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT READING THE CONCEPTS.ALL THAT U CARE ABOUT IS THAT i want to go through all the main points.GOD BLESSED US WITH FA JUST FOR THIS

APOLOGIZE FOR THE TYPOS IN MY LAST POST HERE IS THE ERRATA I PREFER FA over KME. KME seems to be compleate and also we feel it has the same diagrams as that of kaplan but its not user friendly use it only if it suits ur study style. dont know why i always felt that with kme im reading anew book. on the other hand FA is an amazingly user friendly book.if u know ur concepts and theory THAN fa will never seems to be a new book things given very precise and very nicely. its the only book u can so easily revise a day before the exam (not kme) so i definately preferred FA over KME WHEN U R 1 WEEK TO GO FOR UR EXAM..... U REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT READING THE CONCEPTS. ALL THAT u think is-" i want to go through all the main points".GOD BLESSED US WITH FA JUST FOR THIS

if ur taking kaplan or have done kaplan books than get med essentials it has same diagrams and stuff as from kaplan so easy to follow and it brings back things u learned during lecture, video, reading etc.. However, F.A + qbank + uworld is sufficient for this exam.

KME .. summary of kap plus extra pic , facts . Easy , clearer read . ppl like kap like KME . FA .. high light , summary of facts for exm as exm takers said , we will all know how FA is the gold or not when we have our D day . FA hard to read if not read any at all yet . Bottom line .. choose that makes u study , either one or both , but FA is favorite one for exm takers , so I would not let it go though am the KME fan [ used to be ] , now am back at my kap LN then will see , later when review FA +/_ KME if time is not on my side . Best if could do both if have time , but who have Just my point of view . GL

I think one reading of KLN and KME multiple with UW and Goljan should be enough. I like KME b/c it's a summary of the 6 books and the info is familiar. what i like is that it has complete sentences unlike FA which is facts only. for me to retain something, it has be in complete sentence. Bottom like: those who like memorization would perhaps enjoy FA and those prefer understanding would like KME. GL

i've done both and i agree with what was said above.... its all a matter of personal preference..... i'd suggest to go to the bookstore and flip through both of these and buy whichever one you feel you'll understand more..... (or on the other hand, if you know someone who has these) sure, if you have the time, do both.... good luck for exam!
