Gender identity vs. Sexual Identity

Sexual Identity  it's biological
Gender Identity  it's sense of being male/female as experienced by a person.

Homosexuals and transvestites are content w/their physical sex.

So, this guy will continue wearing women's clothes etc. but will be normal. We saw a case show by one of the most highly paid sexologists in the US and she said that these transvestites have normal families. They get married to the opposite sex and have kids. It's just that their kids have to accept that daddy wears a dress and uses lipstick.

i disagree.

this is a case of gender identity disorder, and these people feel trapped in a wrong body for the entire life. if it's a true case of gender identity disorder, this boy is going to be miserable, because he believes he's a female having male body. these patients often request sex changing operations.

as opposed to transvestism, where person wears opposite sex clothes, but feels perfectly fine about their being male or female.

agree with Yulia - there are 3 dif. situations: homosexualism, transvestism and transsexualism. In this case it's a transsexualism. So prognosis will be surgery/hormones
