A patient with pernicious anemia comes with weakness.

You put him on B12 injection .

Weakness is markedly aggravated .Reason ????

Patients with pernicious anemia, who receive vitamin B12 to stimulate erythropoiesis, may deplete extracellular potassium and suffer from hypokalemia as a cost to producing new red blood cells
