Hi!! I would like to contact people trying to enter a Pediatric residency or people that are already doing one (especially IMGs).
Does anybody know how competitive is Pediatrics these days? Which are the average scores one should get in the Steps to have a good chance of matching? Which are the most IMG friendly programs?

I am not aware of average scores, but Peds is not very competitive.

Hi Im interested in Peds too. So far the letters from PD Im getting requires US /own country clinical experience. which I dont have  So Im getting a little frustrated . Im tempted to buy commercial net offering a glimpse of the available peds programs for IMgs.Have you guys seen one for Pedia?Is it ok?

Peds is a bit more competitive than IM, just because there are fewer spots and it mostly fills in the match. But, I got interviews at top 5 pediatric programs in the US while for IM I was mostly interviewing at programs in the top 25 or down.

hi guys
i'm also an IMG interested in taking up peds residency. does anybody know about thr good PD programs. i do know that its tougher than IMs coz, almost all of the IMG i know have gotten in IM.
any help will be appreciated.
