can we deassign a LOR once its been downloaded by programs? if yes, how? how can we replace one LOR which has already been downloaded by programs by a new one? who do we send the new LOR, to ERAS or to the programs themselves? if the program, then how do we send it- scanning and emailin?? in this case, i dont think the LOR would be considered waived... i'll get a USLOR soon, how should i send it to programs?i already applied with 4 indian LORs to all the progs and almost all downloaded them. anyone? thanks

I dont think there is a recourse for deslecting your LORs. You can prepare email list of all programs you have applied to and send them an email informing that you have gained valuable US experience and would like to provide US LOR if possible. After that you can either email attach the letter and HOPE that it will be in your file.

and with double 99, you will have tons of IV. I would take the letter with me to the interview if I were you and provide it to the PC first thing in the morning.

you can DEASSIGN LORs. go to MyERAS docs section and there you have the option. do that and reassign the new LOR in place of some other LOR, and you will see that programs will download that too, if they want to.
