Well that is correct , but strictly speaking platelet is not a cell. It is cytoplasmic fragment of megakaryocyt , so I didn't mean platelets.

Hi Rajeev, I didn't see this one smiling face
There are a lot of things that can cause appearance of nucleated cells in the epidermis.
The process when keratinocytes retain nuclei is called parakeratosis (also hyperkeratosis could be present) and it could be seen in many conditions, for example - psoriasis, actinic keratosis, SCC, BCC. Other cell types can go to the epidermis and be nucleated there, like different kinds of inflammatory cells, malignant cells from somewhere else and so on...
Is that what you were thinking about?

kal.-Did you notice that Dr.Domini stated 6 months ago that a platlet is only a remnant of a megakaryocyte? It is not a cell.
