Hello everyone!
I'm an IMG hoping to get a position in 2009. I'm taking Step 1 and CK both before Dec. and have already passed CS. I know I can't match or get interviews without passing more than CS. So is it even possible to get a position thru the scramble/post-match if I'm not registered with NRMP??? Or do I have to at least get myself registered in order to be allowed to apply at all???

ne needs to be registered to NRMP for one to be match during match time &scramble period unless you think that your credentials would be on that status that you believe the programs you applied for example will give you a pre match...if you registered w/ NRMP and accepted/signed a prematch at one program youll need to withdraw from NRMP so that you will deter yourself for matching from other programs..
this is what i understand..hopefully other members would correct me if im wrong

Thanks so much adr! I knew I had to be registered to participate in the Match but wasn't sure if it were possible to scramble/post-match without being registered. So now I know what I need to do. Again, thank you!
