Till yesterday, we had a situation where the telephone message was the 27th while the website was displaying the 29th from the day before. This caused me a lot of anxiety. My intention to start this update is to give an actual picture of which day's documents are being scanned at ECFMG, so that we know how things are progressing.
Let me start,
Document received -- 28th August
Scanned & Uploaded -16th September, late afternoon
Anybody who has their documents received at a later date, and scanned and uploaded will help in giving the actual picture of the ECFMG scanning.

received aug 29 - scanned sept 17
received sept 2 - scanned for ~ 5 days... so up to sept 23 or 24
received sept 3 - scanned sept 25
sept 4 - sept 26
sept 5 - sept 29
sept 8 - sept 30 - october 7
sept 9 - oct 8
sept 10 - oct 9
sept 11 - oct 10
just my approximation basing on observation of the scan times of ECFMG

how do you know the date and time when your document was uploaded?

go to ECFMG under their eras services click the verification of receipt of documents, then click the link above the list of documents already present at ECFMG and there you will see what documents are currently being scanned. as of now they are still scanning those received last august 29.

So the ECFMG ERAS telephone number says that they are currently scanning documents recieved on the 2nd of September.

ok...don't even need to do all that, just go to ecfmg.org and press "ERAS-Electronic Residency Application Service" on the left side...
I meant how do we know exactly when our documents were scanned...somebody on another post even gave the exact time his LOR was scanned...

Go to ERAS, and in that my applications tab. In that there is an option at the top of MY DOCUMENTS. When you click on that you will get an idea of what is going on.
In that you will come tyo knwo if your document has been scanned or not. If ot has been scanned and you have allocated it to any one of the programs, then go to that program and you will see the time on the left side, when it was made available to the ERAS postoffice. That is the time that the documnet was uploaded to ERAS.

a week..... for sure...
i hope my documents get scanned today...
last night i kept having dreams of my documents being scanned.... and tht i applied.... finally...

My documents just got scanned...
Wonder how I got to know????
well.... it doesnt show on OASIS...
Doesnt show on ADTS...
I had called them.... she said.. its scanned...
Finally!!!!
I just applied to 90 programs.... and when i check my application status... it says... not in ERAS post office...
Watever.... I am happy I aplied

They have started scanning documents received on the 4th of September (as per both, the website and on calling ecfmg).....................
They have come in for a lot of criticism, from all flanks, including me.
But now they have done a great job, and since I was amongst the first to criticize, I should be the first to applaud them as well.
KUDOS ECFMG ERAS team.......way to go!!!!!!!! KEEP IT UP!

I think they staffed people for this work and I am so glad. Wow...I can finally have my complete application in couple days. Thanks coolmavs for the update.
