I wonder if anybody could help me with my question , is usmle a must before applying for an observership ??

hello to u. places like cleveland clinic(florida and ohio) need us to be ecfmg certified ie all steps except step 3. udmnj also needs ecfmg certificate. i was trying for IM at these places and so i came to know about it. i think cleveland ohio also needs TOEFL. FM also has tough reqs. most of them also need ecfmg certificate. some places like mt sinai miami need atleast one step scores of > 80.
