Great discussion grin

I just learn a lot..... also tyrosine is converted to thyroxine...right?

What drug would inhibit iodination of tyrosine residues on thyroglobulin plus the linking of DIT and MIT?

Tyrosine gives rise to:

2)T3, T4
3)Catecholamines

Drugs that would inhibit I- Diiodotyrosene are:
1)PTU
2)Methimazole

What drugs inhibit uptake of I-?
