Dear journal,
I plan of starting my studying for CK mid next week, I was suppose to start much earlier but I had problem finding Kaplan books for a reasonable price. I finally bought a set on ebay. I still haven't gotten my step1 results, hopefully this monday. I have learned alot while studying for step1 and it helped me refine my study skills. I am determined not to make the same mistakes I made in step1.
My resources for CK will be:
- Kaplan LN and videos ( if I can find them)
-Kaplan Q bank and Q book with the first read
-UW start with 2nd and 3rd reads
-First aid along with each book
-CK secrets
Important dates:
-oct.26 finish first read
-Nov.30th-finish 2nd read
-January 4th-finish 3rd read
-January5th-18th review notes
-January19th-intended exam date ( I am determined to stick to this date).
Insha'allah I will be able to make it.
I don't have any clinical experience yet ( 2nd year student), so I have to work extra hard but I have something to prove this time around, cuz I didn't meet my deadline the for step1 and thats my motivation. Hopefully I will have the books by wed/or thursday next week so I can start studying.

Dear journal,
I got step2 secrets today, I heard that this books os highly recommended. I started reading it today and I really don't like its format but I will stick to it and see how that goes.
Goal for tomorrow is:
-to do 50 pages of step2 secrets

Dear journal,
I still haven't gotten my books , I really wanted to start studying by today. I started reading secrets but I stopped cuz I wanna read the kaplan books first and watch the videos first. I finally got my step1 score 216/89, not what I aimed for or wanted but I am relieved. Now I have to work really hard to get a 99 in step2 insha'allah.

thank u dear. I finally got my books, Iam sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Excited!!!!!!!! I never thought I would be this excited about books, I definately were not excited about studying step1. But it feels different this time.

hey cheech u mind if i join u ? How much have u finished and how r u planning it from here on. Are u going to manage to finish ur first read by oct 26th ru doing kaplan video lectures with ur reading?
