excess doca in zona fasciculata and reticulata will suppress the renin angio aldo system and thus zona glomerulosa will b suppressed.. so even when there is no deficiency in the pathway of aldo synthesis in zona glomerulosa, there will b a decreased aldo.. although doca is a weak MC, when in excess (as in this case due to adrenal hyperplasia) so aldo wil decrease in all enzyme deficiencies.. i hope this helps..

zona fasc and reticulata have only till 11 hydroxylase.. they wont convert corticosterone to aldo.. actually they dont have those enzymes.. each zona has the enzymes required 4 the synth of its particular hormone.. so the aldo pathway ends at doca and corticosterone in ZF n ZR.. so inc doca ----> supp RAA ----> dec aldo.. i hope this helps a bit..
