What kind of questions do they ask?

I read in a different forum and different thread that they give you a written exam?

please reply with any past experiences. would really help me out.

A written examshocked I did'nt know about that. I am scheduled to interview there. Can somebody tell if there will be a written exam.

They dont take a written test.Relax.General qs . No academic qs,an average program

The nearest airport is newark new jersy.Its a biiiiiiiiggggggggggggg city adjacent to new york.

I was interviewed by the PD and the chief Resident.They ask general qs. Some qs regarding work experience in united states and back home. Chief resident was a sweet lady and looked helpful. She was aking the same qs as PD did. It went well but u never know.

hey guys interviewed there... went ok.

no exam, they got rid of it couple of years back.

salmonella, you say there was a chief resident that was a female? the two chiefs that interviewed my group were men. are you talking about the assistant program director? she was nice.

wow, they must have 3 chiefs there.

was a nice lunch...we had, residents were super busy

beautiful area except if you are driving was really confusing area.. make sure to have your gps handy!

now.. the wait.. for the second interview invite

O really ,I was interviewed by a white lady and she told me that she is a chief resident. I know that the assistant PD is an Indian but she was on vacations when the program interviewed us.

Also we were offered to have lunch and the good thing was that the whole food was Halal.

Keeping the fingers crossed to get a 2nd look IV

any IV's elsewhere?

yeah they must have 3 chiefs.. mine was nice. but was asked a few med questions.

Yes, I have carilion clinic virginia ,UAB birmingham and an entrance test exam invitation from brookdale .I am not sure if I am going for this entrance test exam.

wow good for you. i wish i had more psych IV's but my scores are a little low.. psych is getting more competetive. I have iv's in a different speciality though. i guess i will just have to do an intern year first somewhere then transfer if i have to

yes, they offer prematch, they only had 1 spot for match last year, I have an IV there late Jan, wondering if they'll even have any spots left or if all will be given off to prematch by then...

i Interviewed there in october. we were 5 of us. were given MCQ exam of 50 questions.lunch was good.I'll write my impression in iv experiences.

psychiatry questions, some drug related, some about disorders and a few about neurology. It's a very stupid thing to do to give that exam to the candidates.
