Hello Forum
Please somebody explain ..
I am an Indian IMG.I took final year exams in August 2006 and I completed my internship in November 2007.(how old does this sound........ And I had my medical diploma in hand by feb/march 2008. So which year is my grad year
I guess its 2007 I am not sure though ?? Do programs consider the months as well cos some of my friends completed their internship earlier in the year of 2007 (like in march) so does that matter to programs that have a cutoff for their residency programs? So even though they are my seniors as they started med school earlier, their and mine grad year are same?
Someone please explain.. I am planning for 2010 match.

Usually its the year they issue your diploma that they consider your grad year...that should be 2008 for you...

 ..yes it is 2008...i`m also in ur situation...but i did not know this nd registered myself as 2007 grad
