high fever and severe headaches---six days earlier he developed a boil on his right upper lip ---penicillin injections ----not improve, but rather became delirious---acute infection in the cavernous sinus---------wht ll be the sensory loss?n whts the etiology?

Blink reflex:
afferent= trigeminal
efferent=facial
Look like a herpes simples encephalitis with trigeminal compromise

cavernous sinus
lateral wall contains CNs III,IV,V1,V2
in the sinus is the int catotid artery, symp. plexus and CNVI
supplied by the opthalmic veins
