Hey Everyone! I'm starting this group for myself, and for anyone else who would like to join in. I'm a beginner and I just began my Step 1 prep 2 days ago, I am still a little unsure on what resources to use, but as of now, I have begun the Kaplan Video lectures+lecture notes. I find these lectures very helpful and easy to understand, so to get started, i think its a great resource. I'm also planning on using First Aid 2008 on the side, along with a few other books on the side.
Well, so I started 2 days ago with lecture video 1, and now im midway through lecture video 8, so as of now i have covered topics such as:
(Early Embryology)
-Gonad Development
-Week 1-Beginning of Development
-Week 2-Formation of the Bilaminar Embryo
-Embryonic Period(Weeks 3-8)
(Gross Anatomy and Organogenesis)
-Back and Nervous System
-Thorax
and i am currently on...
-Abdomen, Pelvis, and Perineum
well, ive been taking my own notes as i go along with these lectures, and at the same time, what just came to me this morning, was why not make flash cards, so i went online, and i made some flash cards online..theres about 62 right now, im a little worried that they may be too simple, can anyone let me know and advise me?? here are the links to them:
